This small flying ring is a surprisingly good flyer. It is very easy to make and a lot of fun to fly.
The Small Flying Ring is a unique one, grip with your thumb and middle two fingers and try to impart some spin on it as you throw it.
Flying Ring Paper Airplane Instructions
This sheet pattern for the small flying ring will make 4 flying rings.
- Print the attached PDF
- Set print scale to 100%
- Set print orientation to landscape
- Cut along the thin dotted lines. This will separate the flying rings.
- Fold each of the 4 folds in order as numbered.
- The folds, are tight, which makes them a bit difficult, keeping the folds tight will help with the flight.
- Roll the paper into a ring.
- Place a small piece of tape on the edge to hold the ring shape.
- Work any flat spots still in the ring back and forth a bit to help make the ring round.
Make a C with your hand and throw the ring, try to put a spin on it.
